Founded in 2014, KọSchool is a private high school in Austin, Texas, designed with the belief that young people’s time matters and they deserve to be in a space that is focused on developing the concrete skills they will need to succeed and lead in a rapidly changing world.
Identity & Logo
KoSchool is a unique educational experience which combines attributes of college prep, Waldorf education, and business training. The school is built around the concept of safety, inclusion, and open minds. Our goal with the identity was to reflect these elements with a unique brand mark. We worked directly with the founder of KoSchool, Letsie Kehble, to drive direction on what elements he wanted to include in the logo. He was inspired by the Lioness, a symbol of nurturing and protection, as well as different hand mudras and the omega symbol.
The previous KoSchool website was a stark contrast from the new website. With a lack of focus on a mobile experience and information about the school itself, the original site needed a lot of work. While reflecting the new brand styling and updated imagery, Likeable wanted to create more white space and a better mobile experience for both students and parents.
